SB392 Removed From Schedule. Moved To Monday.

Although SB 392 has been on the schedule to be heard on the House floor for days, it had been delayed each time because of time constraints. But it was the first Senate bill due to be heard today, so time was not an issue. This delay could mean the supporters of the bill don't think they have enough votes and want some extra time to twist arms.

Now, more than ever, we need to double down and make sure the House members know about our opposition to SB 392. Even if you have contacted them before, please do so again. A simple message of "Protect parent's rights, no on SB 392" will be sufficient.

Don't waste your time with long handwritten letters. Legislators are not reading your mail, staff members are. They will not be swayed by your superior reasoning. They are persuaded by how many angry voters are out there vs how large the donations from the teachers' unions are.
